Announcement about Friday, 6/27

Tomorrow (Friday, 6/27) will officially be HAPPY DAY here on Jolt Country BBS.

There has been a lot of negativity flying around here lately, primarily (unfairly) toward me, and (very fairly) from me, as well as a number of little side-squabbles, and this all leads to a very unpleasant feeling when one logs onto what should rightfully be the most fun place on the internet.

That is why tomorrow, 6/27, is HAPPY DAY. Everyone should make their best effort to come on here, and say something nice about their fellow JCers. Point out what a lovely day it is. If someone says something that bugs you, brush it off, and thank them for all the things that you enjoy about them. Something in the news getting you down? Be thankful for the good things that are going on in your life, and share them with us!

Get ready... for HAPPY DAY!

Despite the obvious stuff about how all of the flame wars make things interesting (this has been the most active time in the BBS's history on joltcountry.com and its almost all due to the arguments) I'd like to say that I think that this could be very interesting.

I remember when each day you would go and slither over the candy dish as Brandy placed each morsel in your hot little hand. You treated those little chocolate bars like a Veruca Salt golden egg.

You kissed and made love to the free chocolate sensation National was distributing to you each day.

Chocolate was your enemy and you would stop at nothing to rip the inards out of the nice shiny package that stopped you from your personal satisfaction.

Come on now. I don't do that "period after sentences" thing that much. I've done much more in the area of "threats of knife slashes" than that as of late.
