What's the best TV show with the worst final season?

It feels like Game of Thrones is the ultimate answer here, but there are several others that come to mind, and I didn't love the rest of the show as much as most viewers. What final season of a show you enjoyed really STICKS IN YOUR CRAW?

My answer would be The Office. The last season wasn't offensively, aggressively terrible, but it was significantly worse than the rest. The rest was so great that I still can't be mad, but it was past time to go.

I still had hope until the last episode that they had it all planned out.

Then it was all bullshit. That's up there, but I only remember how bad the last episode was, not the whole season.

The last season of Lost being horseshit should have been completely predictable to able that beat MYST.

Only because there is a small chance that one of the people that worked on it may some day come here - Dexter had 4 great seasons and three worthless seasons. BUT! Season 8 was one of the worst in television history. I have said this many times but it's almost ballsy how they came up with a completely different show for the character of Vince Masuka to be on that never had anything to do with the other plot of garbage.

It was one of the worst seasons of anything ever, I regret the fact that I had it up in a 320x200 window (albeit with sound on) and let it play.

The first four seasons of Dexter were really good though.

Also, the final season of Parks and Recreation begins with a three year jump in time in which most of the characters have changed jobs or have been promoted to different positions.

I bet some people would put BSG (new one*) on this list. There's one where you either thought the last season was the worst, or the best.

* Can we stop saying "new one"? Christ, it's almost 20 years old and regardless of what you thought of the ending, rendered the original irrelevant.
