I thank you all for your warm responses. I got busy on something I was trying to do, and not succeeding, and it frustrated me (still does). But I'll keep trying, although I sometimes think the universe hates me, the way some things that should be working, don't.

Consider the definition of "fungible": Able to be substituted for something of equal value or utility.
Two $100 bills are fungible, any of them can substitute for any other. How is Bitcoin different?

I say Bitcoins are fungible. Prove me wrong. Explain to me in what fashion how 1/1000th ownership of Bitcoin s/n N6213842, is different from ownership of Bitcoin E7043619; or how ownership of a full Bitcoin A0039362 is different from ownership of all of the Bitcoin with s/n W0093066? (Serial numbers fictitious.)
