Too soon! Let it get sorted some more in the wild. Then install it and give us a review

No, wait till they force it on you. They don't test the stuff they've been working on for years, why subject yourself to that garbage?

Well, if you've already got it...what do you think? I heard it was somewhat better than 10, and they did something about the interminable update waiting hell. Is it faster, better stronger or did they just move shit around again and tell us it was new.

Re: Should I?
If you're actually interested, I only considered it because my computer developed intermittent partial paralysis, meaning several times a day for no reason suddenly I can keep doing work in whatever web page is already on top but I can't change tabs or apps. Only three finger salute then choose task manager gets back control. Thought it was a Chrome issue but no. Started with a couple of AV's, nothing. Tried DOS prompt based diagnostics which had some fixes but still it's there. Stripped anything weird out of the registry and still does it so the only thing left to do is a re-install, recover, or what I was hoping would be less painless and upgrade. Turns out my processor doesn't qualify so I guess i'm safe from mandatory upgrades. Now I have some hours of backing up and waiting to do. How ironic, the ability to play under the hood and install different versions was one thing I liked about Windows over macs originally but now it's such a chore that I hate it.

Interesting that there are unsupported processors. Used to be able to Install ok but run very slowly if the machine was old. Now it wont even try.
