The level to which the toilet refills itself after a flush is based on the current water pressure in the house. The more water is being used elsewhere, the less water will be available to the toilet.
If you turn on the tub, you'll notice that the toilet only refills 2/3 of the way. So obviously, you need to find two other ways to get water flowing.
The answer is right there in the bathroom: The two sink buttons (one for hot, one for cold.) Problem is, since they're the wacky kind which pop up after a couple seconds after you press them down, you can only manually press one of them at a time.
So you need to find a way to get them both down at the same time. Perhaps some heavy objects you could place on the buttons to keep them pressed down? Where will you find two similar heavy items?
Hey, I know. In the bookcase. The bookends!
So, turn the tub on, put the bookends on the hot and cold buttons on the sink faucet, and flush that toilet. Voila! Empty toilet.
