MAME with Neo Geo bios
I used to play this in a multi cart in my MVS. Cool game with funky music. Very difficult.

Good news, ICJ! Looks like it fired right up on the ol' MiSTer.
If you need help finding the ROM or NEO GEO BIOS files, lemme know.

FinalBurn Neo ("FBNeo") is usually a better choice compared to MAME. It's an emulator for playing games, while MAME is for "preserving" games. What this means in practice, is FBNeo has more conveniences, better usability, and if a game needs "hacks" to run, look and/or sound properly, FBNeo does them while MAME refuses to.

Thank you all for the help here. I think this may be my gateway to learning something about the NeoGeo!

Re: Viewpoint for Neo Geo
There really are a lot of good games despite the heavy volume of fighting games for Neo Geo. My MVS still remains a prized posession I wanted since I was a kid that gets quite a bit of play. "Stakes Winner II" for example is a blast to play with a friend despite being a horse racing game of all things.Ice Cream Jonsey wrote: Sun Jul 14, 2024 6:44 am Thank you all for the help here. It being summer I think I'm going to finally try to learn proper strategy (buying upgrades, etc) for Super Baseball 2020 soon
