I enjoy malls, I worked at one around 1996 and 1997. One of my games takes place in one.
Starting in November, I started taking Wyatt to the mall near his day care. The weather had gotten colder, there's stuff for toddlers, it has been great.
I was just reading the "Discover" tab on Blue Sky tonight and saw this. I was not following the guy:

Initially, he was under the impression that he bought a new Sony PSP handheld system AT the mall. He was asked which mall and replied with...... the same freaking mall I've been going to for the last two months.
(I'll try to get Blue Sky posts to inline.)
His further investigations indicate that the PSPs may be refurbished AliExpress ones. So it isn't a time portal into a dimension where new game systems are. But I somehow missed the store he went to but I'll go in myself and check the place out.

Re: The Mall
Yooo the PSP market got weird AF like last year lol. Glad I don't care about it. Still looking to score a Twinkle Star Sprites cartridge for Neo-Geo MVS for 200 or less instead ha.
Malls seem to making a slow come back! It's as if people young and old realized there is a cool social element to being in a place. With an arcade and food! What a novel concept!
I fucking love malls and miss the days of American ultra consumerism.

Re: The Mall
Is it just on the West Coast that the malls are now mostly filled with foreign customers?
I understood Santa Clara CA, there's nothing but Indians (not Native Americans) living there but Lynnwood WA? North of Seattle is mostly White. Almost seems like the novelty has worn off for folks that grew up here.
