REVIEW: Nothing Gold Can Stay by A New Found Glory

[Bad Emo Fan]

I attempted to purchase this "classic" emo disc over at Borders but I woke up on the late side today. I thought my alarm clock went off, but it did not! I bucked up and did not cry, though. For today was going to be a special day!

I fell asleep gently weeping into my girlfriend's, Veronica's, arms the night before. She had left when I woke up and put a note beside my bed. She kind of said some bad things about me. But determined not to cry was I! Hahah, that's sort of how Yoda would say it if he wasn't going to cry. 'Do or do not! There is no cry!' Hahahah.

I went into the store to buy the album and had to wait for this mother to find "the princess diaries" before they could give me my special disc at customer pickup. One of her kids kicked me in the shins and called me "four eyes." But I held the tears in.

After what seemed like forever I finally was able to pay for the disc. That's when I learned that my credit had been shutoff. It was a prank played by the Mandrake guys at work. I just ran out of the Borders with my disc. They couldn't catch me, because I am lithe and quick and they all drink coffee and fat bars all day. Schweet!

Unfortunately, when I got to work and went to put the disc in my MP3 / CD / DVD player, I realized that the joke had been played on ME. There was nothing in the jeweled case, I guess that's why they didn't go after me. Well that's certainly much more emotional haurbringing (sp?) for one man, I cried and cried and cried and cried.

So my review of Nothing Gold Can Stay is Zero Stars. I do not recommend this purchase or at least..; I recommend you ensure that the disc is in the jeweled case when purchasing it. kthx.

Emo is... despicable music of a brand most foul and black. Goofy pop songs with "emotional" ties that normally feature lead singers with extremely... nasal... voices.

I told Dan not to encourage them! We should instead concentrate on our work! The reagent was so close! So close! We simply needed a fresher specimen, ours was not quite fresh enough!

I had to laugh when I heard Bad Emo Fan's tale. For certainly any one who allows himself to be duped by... Mandrake users is certainly no man at all.

Bah! I must return to work!
