Ben has left this website.

Post by Ice Cream Jonsey »

He has left this website for the fifth time.

The rest of us will have to step it up and ensure that the lineup stays strong.

I have attached one of those batting donuts to my keyboard in order to lead to more productive, entertaining posts when I actually click on the "submit" button.

In fact, if the lot of us do not replace the hole in the lineup I will be changing the "submit" button to a permanent link to that one giant, moaning whore listed in the Troll Room's website.

I really don't have as many personal problems, so I will have to make stuff up.

There was this one time, I was in a bar....and this girl I thought I knew.....No, wait. There was a 600 pound gorilla.....nah, hang on a sec. OH, I know.. I was skin diving off lake Ontario and this harbor seal came on to me and.....no no no.

Maybe I should stick to boring reality...

...so I says to her: "Presumptuous"?! That's an awfully big word for a 12-year old!

LOLs!

Shit.

I forgot the setup. Dammit. Nobody can do this quite like whatshisname.

I could tell some of my Curious George sex stories. That might keep people entertained for a bit (or appalled, depending on how you just took that).

The best one involves a swimming pool, a halloween party, a middling amount of booze, a woman in a mouse outfit and of course a curious george book.

Not that Ben would have done this, but I'd be more than happy to post pics of my kitchen remodel (I'm doing all the work myself). It should be just about as boring and unentertaining as Ben's posts.

Nothing pisses me off more than 17+ year olds coming to my house trick-or-treating, not wearing any costume, and not even saying "Trick or Treat" or "Thank You". They just shove their stinky pillowcase in your face and expect you to fill it. I also had one kid (maybe 11 or so) take the candy I just put in his bag out and whine to me that he doesn't like them. Fortunately for the kid, his mother immediately scolded him. Nice fucking manners kid.

Next year, Halloween is going to work differently. Kids who wear costumes and are polite get great treats. Kids who don't dress up, don't say "Trick or Treat", or are way too old to be trick-or-treating get stale black licorice (or if I'm really feeling sadistic, Necco wafers).

To make matters worse, my 3-year old didn't want to trick-or-treating, despite the fact that my wife (who has been sick the last 8 days) dragged herself out of bed and MADE him a costume. I was looking forward to the parent's 20% cut of his candy haul.

We only had 2 come to the door. This complex is mostly either young couples without benefit of fertility or seniors waiting to die. I was hoping for alot more; this was the first year I ever bought candy. Usually I go out to dinner or parties and miss the festivities. I wonder if neighborhoods around here get more kids, or are the days where people do anything but go to the mall storefronts passed?

I went to Salem and was a Sim <s>two</s> a few people even took pictures of me. My aunt has a huge house there and it's great, though just douching around and leaving really late seems like it would be brutal, especially from PA.

A few observations.
The Crow, ICP, and The Matrix took most of the thought out of Halloween. Fuck work and money; but, white & black make-up and your normal totally unexpected basic black outfit doesn't cut it XxShad0wTearzxX. A razor blade, a few cardboard boxes, some geometry, an art supplies/fabric store, at most a trip to Home Depot, and you can make a costume. Paint a few boxes white and say you're the paddle from Pong, if you want to get fancy you could be a Vaus.

Very few people know what The Sims is. Anyone who did get it agreed that I was a genius to be the only person to think of the costume for a game that's been out for four years.

You think people would realize trying to stop the Bible humpers that are trying to change your mind ultimately puts you at the same level, just below trilobites and a schooch above maggot infested shit.

Popular costumes?
1. Goth
2. Crowd shouting "Yankees Suck"
3. Pimp
4. Person who thinks they are a witch

Though all in all it was pretty good. I can probably rehash (this post) The Sims costume next year in PA and if I do hit Salem find a friend to be the ball and implement the genius Pong idea I just spit out.
Good point Bobby!

NOT TRUE. I have seen him log in today. When, O When will Ben either stop childishly threatening to leave or actually do so? I suppose this site is actually some sort of co-dependent support group for Pinback, here to reassure him that he is important and we would shrivel and die without his glorious content.

Hey, on a complete unrelated note, where is Pinback? We could use some content, huh?

Goddammit?

I've said it before, I'll say it again: CO is the sharpest motherfucker on this entire website! Absolutely nothing slips by this guy's eagle eyes! I said I'd left, but I couldn't quite get away with it, because he saw me here the very next day!

Damn, CO. GG. Well played. I thought I could pull the wool over this place's eyes, but you've shown me that I'll need to get up a little earlier in the morning if I wanna think about tricking you good folks.
Am I a hero? I really can't say. But, yes.
