Playstation II Price Drop.... query!

There's an article indicating that the PS2 is going to drop thirty bucks tomorrow.

Here on Totalgames.net, for instance.

But that appears to be in pounds, not dollars. Anybody know if it's going to drop in the US as well?

(I've been scouring eBay trying to get a good deal on a copy of Ico in anticipation of this. Probably Spy Hunter and Maximo at some point, too.)

Gyyah... the price cut is only for Europe. And, I guess, as well it should be. The prices for the PS2 and X-Box are astronomical over there.

Is there a good place to go for unbiased daily console news? Something like Blue's News (bluesnews.com) but for consoles?
