new Two Towers trailer available

Post by Ice Cream Jonsey »

You can get it over on Apple's site, and probably the One Ring.net and so forth as well.

If you are reading this past 1:05am MST tonight, you can also get it here:

I'm really looking forward to this one. The movie'll be released December 18th and I hope to be in New York for Christmas vacation on the 17th. I get the feeling I'll be one of those geekin who will be there on the first day, totally against my will, but unable to resist. Ah, well.

That's awesome. If you don't have that first release day off during the day, then some other one works for me. My schedule while at home looks something like this:

December 17th: Nothing
December 18th: Nothing
December 19th: Nothing
December 20th: Nothing
December 21th: Nothing
December 22th: Nothing
December 23th: Nothing
December 24th: Nothing
December 25th: Christmas : reflect quietly on the life of Christ
December 26th: Nothing
December 27th: Nothing
December 28th: Nothing
December 29th: Nothing
December 30th: Nothing
December 31th: Nothing

So, much like an Atlanta Brave playoff game, there are plenty of good seats still available.

I am currently on the "almost normal" schedule so evening showings are all good. Thursday and Friday nights are cool (so long as I'm not geeking it out on Fridays w/D&D).

Juat a stupid question from the uninitiated.

When you say

do you mean New York, New York? Or maybe Rochester, New York? Or even Jersey City, New York? Syracuse, New York? Atlanta, New York? Santa Monica, New York? Washington, DC, New York? Or Boulder, New York?

Heh. Yeah, Rochester, New York. The city where I spent my formative years. I believe John "Thunderbird" Proudstar said it best when he described his hometown:

"Home, Ororo? Couldn't wait to get out. Then missed it with all my heart once I did." There's only two things which keep this from being perfect -- 1) I wouldn't say I miss Rochester with *all* my heart... maybe a couple ventricles and an artery. 2) Thunderbird was tragically killed in action in his next mission.

That's pretty damn funny. Is this some kind of "continuity"? If so, this is a new experience for me, online. I hope Fat, Ugly Jenny will remain with us as the desperate, lonley tagger-alonger all social groups require to function correctly.
