Carolina has not beat New Orleans in at least two years. That is the chief reason why I will fret about the game this upcoming Sunday. The Saints beating someone five times in a row... I don't know if that has EVER happened.

Also, nice showing by the San Diego Chargers. 44-13? I looked like a jackass on Old Man Murray because of the outcome of that game. I don't LIKE looking like a jackass.

If Carter is in shape, then our secondary just became much, much better. I will take Knight, Bellamy, Thomas and Carter... I will take that and I will enjoy it very much. Especially with the way Ken Irvin has been playing. Some kind of best nickle back in the league, now? I think he's up there.

PLUS, Keyou Craver (who was last seen taking a fumble back for a touchdown) is coming back at CB as well.

News of the day -- backup guard Wally Williams was suspended for four games for violating the league's substance abuse rules.

What the fuck? The guy hasn't played a down this year. They keep the first violation quiet and only suspend the second time it happens. The guy is making an enormous amount of money to provide insurance... not sure what the hell was going through his head. I always liked Wally, but it's safe to say that Bentley and Jacox are playing much better than he did last year.
