[Ice Cream Jonsey]

I am putting together a MAME machine and for the marquee I had a decision to make. The decision was basically "who should make it for me?" so I apologize for making it seem complicated, like this was a Murder, She Wrote episode or something.

Scott from mamemarquees.com did a great job for me. I did get the highest quality marquee he offers, I should mention, but the thing he made was fantastic. I got two pieces of plastic with which to to sandwich the printed marquee and it looks great in front of the backlight. Of course, I stupidly ordered a 26" marquee, even though an Egg Venture cab requires a 25" one, as I got confused when it came time to order, but it's fine as I left plenty of room on the marquee for just such an enormous error.

Oh, and the first PSD file I submitted did not look great, and Scott helped me get a better version going. OK, his help was in printing a small version of what I gave him and telling me it did not look great (thus sending me back to Photoshop) BUT STILL.

Anyway, I'll be putting pics of my progress with the machine either in a thread on here or on the main page before too long. I've "primed" it with "primer" and the next step is to paint the whole thing black before I paint some side art.
