Yes, we've all enjoyed it at the renaissance faire and whatnot.

But, I was in the store that DAK works for the other day and spotted a (warm) WOODCHUCK SAMPLER PACK.
Doy? says I. only having consumed the "amber" but it was an enjoyable experience so I plunked down the $15.99 or whatever and began the chilling process. No idea they had more than one HARD cider.

Now... "Pear" sucks ass. It tastes like water (this may be the raging Jim Beam alki in me talking) and isn't really made with pears. this is before reading the label of course. i said "it tastes like water with pear shit in it" ingredients confirmed this.
"Amber" - the old standby. Goddamn, I drank cider more than milk as a kid and if I knew cider could taste like this I would have turned into a drunk even earlier. GOOD ISH SON
"Granny smith" - goddamn that's good. i never knew this even existed but if i was to pick an apple out of the store, granny would get the goose. and so does this brew. A+

up next: "dark & dry." I hold high expectations. except everything dark i've ever touched hasn't stayed dry. hmm.
