The Free Mr. Do! Project

Post by Ice Cream Jonsey »

Is it possible to raise two hundred dollars without doing any real work? Let's find out! Yesterday in the mail I received a check for $48. Apparently, "Shelter Insurance" overcharged me while I was with them. No shit, hahaha! Of course, I smashed up my first Neon, and they paid for the second one, so really I can't complain.

But that $48 is almost 1/4 of the way to a Mr. Do!, and I didn't have to "do" anything.

Follow along with me as one person on a hot streak, with too much crap that he needs to sell on eBay attempts... The Free Mr. Do! Project!

That video card is going straight into the computer I wasted Labor Day rebuilding! I was going to start a new thread about it, but I'll say it here: WORM you are a MENSCH! Thank you, Iron Man!

I am going to put the following up on eBay for the FMD!P, however:

- 1 complete Gravis Grip system. (4 gamepads and hub.)

Hopefully that'll be another ten bucks into the fund!

- Google video refunded me $2.07 that I never accounted for. I guess they are going under or something. So that brings us to 147.43 (left to go).

- Dayna got three dollars off cat food we were going to get anyway at the Safeway, which she only went to because the local Safeway sold us - I shit you negative - DESSICATED CHICKEN.

It was DESSICATED, my friends. I went to touch it, in order to use it for a curry, and instantly my family was cursed for a thousand generations by Tutankhamun.

But anyway, none of this matters, because I have now just $144.43 to go to realize...

I'll bet you $10 that Tiger wins this weekend.
That's the wrong video, by the way.

Is the match going on currently? Is he CURRENTLY winning? If so, I want odds.

"Tournament", but yes.

No. He's three back, tied for seventh, after the first (of four) rounds.

That'd be $145.43, my man.
I could only find 6 quarters and got bitched at by a pregnant chick for wasting half of a load of laundry.

I tried to explain that a wet load of undried laundry was NOTHING compared to six solid plays of a Mr. Do! Arcade game.

It fell on deaf ears.

Then I had unprotected sex. With no fear of babis.
Life is good.

I think somewhere I previously mentioned this and you sort of didn't understand. If you got yourself fixed straw, you'd still ejaculate, there simply wouldn't be any sperm in it.

After two rounds, Tiger is one shot back, tied for third.

Luckily, funds for this does not come out of the Free Mr. Do! Project! (but they would have been added had he lost).

UPDATE!

I went up to get some popcorn and a soda for our friends when Dayna and I went to see Halloween at the drive-in tonight and they gave me cash. The cash has been deposited in the piggy-bank! OK, next to the Vectrex. Which is sort of like a piggy bank, if you cram the money in where the joystick is supposed to go.

I can't remember how much left I have, so let's just say there's $135 left in...

A cool guy none of you guys know (otherwise I would mention him by name: Matt) is helping me with the Spy Hunter monitor issue, but he is out of town until next month. I get paid on the last working day of the month, meaning the monitor is now, in my Google Spreadsheet, an October expense. Aces! This frees up the rest of the dough for Mr. Do! I'm picking it up tomorrow.

This has been...
