I highly recommend this game to everyone, except for the ex-reader of RobB's drivel.
There are SO many improvements to the game, including:
-You no longer have to come to a complete stop to exit a vehicle, you can just jump out and barrel roll. AWESOME. It takes some health but it's better than dying if the car is burning or about to go into the water.
-BIKES
-when you die/get busted during a mission, a taxi is out front of the hospital/popo station when you respawn. Said taxi will bring you straight back to your previous mission mark. THIS IS THE BEST FUCKING FEATURE!! RobB, wasn't this your main beef with GTA3, all the driving?
Of course, you can choose not to take the taxi and go do something else.

I only played it for ~7 hours, I'm sure there's tons of other new and/or cool stuff. can't wait till Xmas ;)

I was cool with the driving, it was the driving under a ridiculous timer and getting killed trying to drive back to my base which filled me with rage that burned with the hatred of a thousand stars.

Word on the street is that you can go into a mall and shoot it up from there (and take the car on display there and drive it around). Is this more or less true? I am a sucker for a game that takes place in a mall.
