My wife wanted to make a coffee table book one time comparing the food in fast food ads to what you actually get in drive-thru but she was worried about getting sued so it never happened.

Ideally, the goal of the website will be to seek out and find some of most horrible photos of food we can find. And then I hop onto IM clients, present one of my friends with the photo, and we both just outright libel everyone involved: the chef, the consumer, the web hosts of the pic, everyone.

(I think there should be one running joke about one fake person who is looking to buy a new digital camera, and exclusively comments on the picture resolution and quality.)

The reason being is that *I* certainly can't keep up with an actual blog. I mean, seriiously, you put up new content virtually every day, and so does Jason and the Drunk Jays Fans (sort of cheating, as there are three or four of them) and I just - I just cannot do it.

But, what I definitely can do, is make fun of things for a few seconds in gchat, and then upload that to Wordpress.

This was all Pinback's idea. I personally confused "bad food pics" with "pics of bad food" and he yelled at me. Lemme see if I can find the log:

Pinback: godaddy check

ICJ: Nope

... OK, I am back. We're in a holding pattern until Ben gets back from moving. But - maybe - next week?

Oh! This is the other thing. Hopefully, nobody will sue us, as libel is one of those "victimless crimes" that the kids seem to love these days.

If we did get sued, I would only demand that the originators of every single piece of bad food we've laughed at so far is subpoenaed. It would be the greatest collection of terrible cooks since the last time I dined alone at home.
