I see what you mean. When I watched the game live as a spectator I could see a whole lot more of what was happening than what you could see from your view as a participant as shown by the game capture (which I replayed using SC2) in the above link.

Well, if you watch those replays, you can see both players as well. There is an option to only see it from one player's perspective, but the default is "show all". Did you select that option, or are you confused?
