3. Uhh...
4. ...there can only be five of them?

If he can come in here I think I can sneak in and do one under the rules to (1) be relevant and (2) as concise as possible. And I squeezed it to seven lines!
1. Sara Lee strawberry cheesecake
2. McDonald's french fries dipped in vanilla ice cream
3. Jerry's Subs and Pizza's New York Style with sausage, mushroom and onion
4. In-N-Out Double-Double cheeseburger
5. Tommy's Famous chili cheeseburger

It's been quite the day. Maybe this will make it better.
1. Pepperoni pizza from Pizza Shack, Hamlin or Greece, NY.
2. Kashmiri chicken from Benjamin "Pinback" Parrish.
3. Chicken korma from the Yak and the Yeti in Colorado.
4. Saag paneer from that one shithole Indian place that went out of business soon after I quit working near it.
5. Lamb vindaloo from anywhere.

Lassi is terrible, it's a real dog! Now seriously, is Lassi like a wine, a sherry, or what? (I'm a lifetime teetotaler.)Billy Mays wrote:The lamb vindaloo was a solid pick. Lamb vindaloo with a glass of mango lassi would have easily made my top 10.Ice Cream Jonsey wrote:Lamb vindaloo from anywhere.
On a side note, I'm doing a story where two lovers, boyfriend-girlfriend are out having pizza. Is wine ok and what kind? Also, what other alcohol besides beer is common to have with pizza. Or if not pizza, what goes well with pasta dishes?

Mango lassi is very similar to a mango smoothie.Tdarcos wrote:Now seriously, is Lassi like a wine, a sherry, or what? (I'm a lifetime teetotaler.)
You always go beer with pizza, the quality of the beer should reflect the quality of the pizza.Tdarcos wrote:On a side note, I'm doing a story where two lovers, boyfriend-girlfriend are out having pizza. You always go wine with pasta. Pairing wine with pasta gets a little complicated, but as a general rule: red wine for marinara or darker dishes, and a white wine for alfredo or lighter dishes.

I don't have five, unless you count beer, but somehow I doubt it's valid.
1] Nick Tahou garbage plate.
There are many variations of this and I like 99.9 percent of them. The fish plate is gross, mostly because I dislike fish (as a species, they're fine but served on a plate....ug) The rest of the varieties..'get in my belly!'
2] Veltre Bakery pizzza.
Veltre's went out of business in 2000 but up until that time I had one of their special-specials* just about every Friday night.
3] The Caledonia Village Inn Steak Balmorale.
This is from the website menu:
pan seared steak with scotch whisky, fresh mushrooms, buttery cream demi-glace and pommes frites.
As a bonus they serve those Italian cookie things for dessert, like fortune cookies but no lucky numbers or anything, just good.
That's all for now, maybe I'll think up the other two after I eat. All this food pr0n in making me hungry.
