"Let me show you my pokemons"

Post by RealNC »

So ICJ once said:
I mean, I know plenty of girls, but there's no good way to phrase, "Be in my text game." To me, the previous sentence always comes out as, "Let me show you my Pokemons."
Who's laughing now? I got laid at least three times by showing off my pokemons this week.

Just throwing your balls at chicks doesn't count as getting laid.
Am I a hero? I really can't say. But, yes.

Is it just me, or did Pokemon Go fall off the face of the earth in about six weeks?

All of the players were run over by trucks while wandering into the middle of the road.

Well, at least they're moving. There was that fad a while ago where people laid down in the middle of the street and sometimes they got run over.

Drivers used to complain there was no fun in it, running over a pedestrian who's just lying there instead of running in terror, screaming, is like shooting fish in a barrel.

This is an example of a GOOD TDARCOS POST. I thought you were gonna zig, but you zagged. More of this.

I try, and sometimes it comes out right. I'd like to succeed whenever I can.

I want to be like my uncle, who died peacefully in his sleep, not screaming, crying and praying like his passengers.

I'm still "playing" it but 99% of the millennials where I work have already quit playing. Its not so much a game as it's more like that fad from our childhood, tomagotchi, where you have to keep giving the game attention for mundane tasks. I can't really call it a game because not a single thing in it requires any skill whatsoever but success depends on constancy, always being able to load up the game to collect something. It doesn't help that the developer has been horrible at delivering features that were promised (a tracking function, trading, peer to peer gym fights) and has been implementing fresh bugs in every update. They have been getting some people back with their holiday related "events" which basically consist of them turning up the levers on one game resource or another but seems like usage is way down.

Overall I'd say it's a lost opportunity for them because they could have leveraged the brand and uniqueness with something truly engaging but didn't put in the work or forethought.

Your uncle, the airline pilot. It's funny if you throw that part in the joke. If your uncle was a rickshaw puller it's not as funny.

Back on topic, I never understood pokeman. My kid had a couple different colored Gameboy versions and I always thought they were really boring. Maybe I just never gave it a chance.

If my grandmother had balls she'd be a grandfather.
