You people are confusing simple prejudices (ie, "hate") with some agenda.
Like Worm, I hate drug users. As a "group" - individually, I've known a few who have done some and occasionally, they're decent people. But as a group? Hate 'em.
I also hate people with tattoos, yet I married one. I hate guys who walk around with their pants below their butt cheeks and baggy boxers shown for all the world. I hate chicks with too much makeup and a bitchy attitude. I hate people who drive (hell, even like) Corvettes. I hate conservative Republicans. I hate most of the local radio DJs. I hate Robert Palmer, too, and was not saddened to hear of his death.
POINT: Everyone "hates" some others, whether it's tree-huggers, potheads, car salesmen, sluts, liberals, gun nuts, or whatever. This is not always rational. (Why should it bother me if someone wants to decorate their body with ink? It shouldn't, but it does.) It does not mean that we're likely to take a gun and start hunting these people down. As much as I can't stand, say, Rush Limbaugh, I'm not running around trying to get him off the air. My preference would be that no one would listen to him and he'd have to go into a new line of work, or there's be some scandal - like the one now where he's hooked on prescription drugs. Ahhh, full circle!
So, don't try to get Worm to explain why he hates potsmokers. You won't get a rational answer. But it doesn't mean that he's mentally unbalanced or needs a shrink and it definitely doesn't mean that he needs to go smoke a bowl to feel better.
