I'm done, there's nothing to debate about.
Then I will add this up in the win column for me.
Nice try. It's not a win, it's a default. You made no effort to start a new thread. You aborted the conversation, thus you don't get to claim you won when you didn't participate. You failed to proceed. You defaulted, and it's too late to appeal, which is why I have also outlived this conversation after you killed it.

It's dead, and over. Have a nice day.

According to the Death Penalty Information Center the following men are still up for execution over the next six months:

November 19 Federal - Orlando Hall
December 3 TN - Pervis Payne
January 21 TX - Blaine Milam
February 4 TN - Oscar Franklin Smith
March 4 TX - Ramiro Ibarra
April 8 TN - Byron Black
April 20 TX - Ramiro Gonzales
April 21 OH - Elwood Jones

In honor of them I present the following song:

The other nine on death row in various states have had stays or reprieves.

Oh, before anyone criticizes me about this selection, yes, I am aware it is Christian Contemporary music.

Why would I start a new thread to debate something you said you were done with because there was nothing to debate with the subtext being I already won this thing?

Helen Reddy passed away this week. In the 1970s Reddy had 15 singles hit the top 40. She was in a ton of musicals, movies, and her song "I Am Woman" became a feminism theme, but to me she will always be Nora from Pete's Dragon, which I probably watched a hundred times as a little kid.

I am NOT. I'm sure he never stole a freight train, but my opinion was always "he's very good at playing the guitar, and I do not care for this music."

Actually, I take it back. Here is the one thing he did which I very, very much liked. It turns out if you watch the movie Twister, when you get to the end credits, there's finally something worthwhile.

[Cut to buzzer effect, multiple times]
This is exactly the sort of "cop an attitude" garbage that I would expect a grown man would not engage in. I calmed down instead of saying the first thought in my head. I thought you wanted to mend fences and be treated with respect. That happens to be a two-way street, you have to offer it too.

And again, you wasted a "teachable moment," when you could have simply said, "Ah, no, Paul, that was Maureen McGovern in Airplane!, who you might remember as the girl who sang We May Never Love Like this Again in The Towering Inferno." A simple response like that where you politely explain someone is wrong and simply say so.

If you try that, maybe people here won't be angry at you so much.

We've been trying to get you to change for 10 years. You're the last guy who gets to comment on someone backsliding for an EVENING.
