Although.. have you seen how much cafe type places charge for a cup or cone of ice cream these days? Jeez! You could just buy a whole carton for what most places like that charge lately.

I will go to a hockey game tomorrow night, and its probably $7 for an ice cream.

I can buy *TWO* of your aforementioned containers (on sale) for that price!

On a slightly related note, I really want to attend another local (non-NHL) game so much this year I might even splurge the 7$ for the gas station style nachos!

Someone hasn't been to a sporting event in awhile.

Beers at AHL games start at $12 now! I have to think they'll be $15 minimum at a Sabres game.

Yeah, the waterpark I work at also sells beer at an insane price of starting at 12 dollars for something like a Budweiser you could buy a 12 pack of for the same or less. Also, 1 scoop of ice cream there is FIVE DOLLAH

And they wonder why hockey attendance is down. It's not worth it to go see the Amerks with beers costing over ten bucks a cup. Just because it's gold in color doesn't mean it should be worth it's weight in it

Actually attendance is finally on the upswing again. Its amazing what some playoff runs will do.

$2 beers before Friday night games (of course, they're like 8oz cups) helps.
