Santiago's Medium Green Chili

Post by Ice Cream Jonsey »

I would like to state for the record, that it was very kind of Pinner to leave some of this for me. I had it for lunch today.

I engaged in a fit of hiccupping the likes of which I had never previously experienced. Why do I hiccup with "hot" food? WHY???

So I'm gonna need to mellow this stuff out a bit. It tastes good... I just can't have it on its own!

Also, Ben! You left ALL THE GODDAMN FOOD. There's no way I can eat all this. I'm taking you both to dinner when you get back to Colorado. This is an OUTRAGE OF FLAVOR.

Today's outrage of flavor would be the homemade green chili that Ben made, which is infinitely better than the standard Santiago's chili. I REQUIRE this RECIPE.

I think I can make this. Well, I have to know how to make it. I gave up on ever doing the Pink Flamingo well. So I need this. I NEED IT.

You know, when you get a chance. And I understand that the recipe MAY be on the package of something. But I don't know what.

I am now convinced that Santiago's "Medium" green chile and Santiago's "Hot" green chile are the exact same product. That being: the most blisteringly hot item I've ever bought from a major grocery store chain.
Am I a hero? I really can't say. But, yes.
